About Ellen

Ellen, a guitarist, singer, and songwriter from Port Pirie, SA, has become a familiar face on the international music scene, frequently traversing the USA, specifically Nashville and Los Angeles. Her involvement in prominent music-related events and features at esteemed establishments like Norman's Rare Guitars in California have solidified her presence in the American music landscape.

Bringing a unique blend of teaching and musical prowess, Ellen holds teaching qualifications, including a Bachelor of Arts and Teaching, Graduate Certificate in Education, and Master of Education from the University of Adelaide. Beyond traditional lessons, she extends her expertise to the digital realm, offering lessons on Patreon and engaging in one-on-one Skype sessions. Moreover, Ellen passionately shares her musical journey by uploading covers of popular songs, with a particular focus on inspiring fellow female guitarists and aspiring musicians.

In 2014, Ellen's talent caught the attention of Reece Mastin, leading to a personal invitation to perform at one of his shows. Two years later, Reece Mastin extended a similar honor, inviting her to perform at various events, showcasing her versatile talent. Keith Urban also recognized her, inviting her to perform at the finale of his Ripcord world tour. This exposure catapulted Ellen into the global spotlight, with widespread recognition through news articles, YouTube features, and a notable appearance on Sunrise alongside Keith Urban.

Returning from the USA, Ellen directed her focus towards her original music, collaborating with a South Australian songwriter and penning her own songs inspired by the stories around her. This creative shift marked a profound chapter in Ellen's artistic journey, reflecting her commitment to authentic storytelling and musical expression.

Her dedication to uplifting and supporting the musical community continued as she had memorable interactions with Delta Goodrem, Jessica Mauboy and Orianthi.

In 2021, Ellen unveiled her debut single 'More Than a Hat,' a defining moment marked by the premiere of its music video on CMT TV. The single garnered features on radio stations nationwide, including esteemed shows like Beccy Cole's and KIX Country. Ellen continued her musical journey with the release of her second single, 'Don't Fall In Love,' on March 31, 2023, showcasing her evolving artistry and dedication to leaving a lasting impact on the world of music.
